The Gardening Group have trips throughout the year - mainly coach trips but nearby gardens and garden centres are visited via car share. Trips are scheduled on different days of the week and costs vary depending on whether guided tours, meals, or coach transportation is included.

Each year, a multi-day trip is organised. Past destinations have included: Ireland, Northumberland, Holland, Kent, France, Sussex, and The Gardens of North Wales. Our next Gardening Holiday will be an Autumn trip to visit Devon in October 2026.

An annual membership fee of £2 is charged to pay for administrative costs. The group currently has 122 members. A monthly newsletter is sent via email to all group members.

The Gardening Group spent a wonderful four (4) days in North Wales exploring gardens in June 2025. A few photos from the trip are shown on this page.
